Hi,

Yesterday evening I installed Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit) onto my PC which I built in 2005. The installation of the OS was fine so I went to install the chipset drivers, onboard audio and onboard network connection drivers. When I inserted the NVIDIA nforce4 series chipset support CD, it threw up an error advising -

"NVIDIA nforce4 series chipset support CD does not support this OS"

I take it I can't install Win 7 on my system then? I've googled for Win 7 drivers for my mobo but there is nothing available for Win 7. I can only find drivers for Win XP 64 or Win 2003 64.

Any ideas or should I just get a new mobo? If I have missed anything or you need more info, please let me know :)

Thanks in advance.

yes just go to the Asus website and download the nforce drivers, or use the ones that Win7 will have auto installed.

EDIT : Ive had a quick look myself and theres no Win7 drivers, but you'll probably find its works without them as Win7 will have them built in.
