Can anybody tell me why when I plug
this
http://tven.terratec.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=240
into the PCI-Express X1 socket of this
http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?l1=3&l2=15&l3=236&model=787&modelmenu=1
I get nothing reporting in windows as "new hardware". Just seems that the Tuner card is totally dead. Checked in the Device Manager and there is nothing. Am I missing something really simple? Its defo drawing power as the card gets warm.
I have a graphics card in the top PCI-EXPRESS x16 port and a sound card and network card in the bottom two pci slots.
Any help would be grateful. If I cant solve this soon im going to have to buy two blackgold tuner cards and I would rather not. But I aint confident enough just to reorder this card as Im worried its just not compatabile with the moterhboard. I have never had a failed card before so im guessing i am doing something wrong.
Cheers
