Asus A8V and DDR RAM question

I have just got hold of an Asus A8V VIA chipset mobo Skt 939 and was wondering if my current ram modules would work on this board.

I currently have a matched pair of crucial pc3200 non ecc cas 3.0 (2x 512mb) modules

These are currently running on an Asus A7V600 mobo in single channel mode.

Would these work in dual channel mode on the 939 mobo?

sorry for the noobish type question - i'm trying to avoid spending more money on memory as I still have to buy a cpu and cooler.

I can't see any reason why they wouldn't work on that board.

Just pop them into the blue dimm slots for dual channel mode and everything should be ok.

they wil work fine as long as your not going to overclock.

They'll still be fine when overclocking.
Just set a divider in the bios.

I won't be overclocking guys just wanting to run them at 200MHz FSB or (400MHz effective speed)

Is there any noticable benefits between dual channel and single channel - I have not seen any myself in benchmarks in reviews.
