I have just upgraded to a Q6600 from an E6600 but the problem I have found is that the process know as ACPI which is supposed to ru between the O/s and the Hardware is now a process running and holding up my PC from running smoothly. In Vista I get an annoying activity circle running over my mouse pointer for several seconds a bit like a virus. Is this usual I have never had this on server 2003.
