Asus AI Suite II - Not Doing Anything

Have just installed the Asus AI Suite II onto my new build from the CD that came with my motherboard, the P8P67.

I've just been trying it out a bit and am not sure whether it is actually doing anything..

I changed the fan settings with the Fan Xpert tool from standard to turbo, and they didn't speed up at all. However when I tried changing the speed via the Asus SmartDoctor program the speed of the fans do change.

Also, with the monitoring section of it, when I increase the fan speed via SmartDoctor, the readings in the Suite show no change at all even though the fans are spinning significantly faster.

I'm saying this as I want to increase the speed of the CPU fan, which I'm not sure whether SmartDoctor does or if it only changes the chassis fans.

Could just be the fans that are affected as I'm not sure how to tell with any of the others.

If I remember correctly, the difference between standard and turbo is that turbo will spin up faster with the temperature. Not sure whats happening with the reading aspect though.

I've always hated Asus software though, I'd recommend using speedfan, Should do everything you want and more.

Have you enabled a fan profile in bios, i have turbo set in bios and ai suite as well, calibrate within ai suite and apply.
