I was thinking about giving the ASUS Auto tuning a go...but I've yet to see anywhere where it's been said that one can go back to the default settings as easily as it was to Auto tune( i have a feeling it's not :) )...but has anyone used it or is using it that could give me their opinion on using it please ? :)

I haven't been able to get it to work without sending my pc into a never-ending cycle of reboots, requiring a bios reset.
But all ASUS boards I've seen allow you to
a) reset bios to optimal (default) settings
b) save current settings to a profile in the BIOS and restore it later.

In practice I've found that if you have problems, it's best to restore optimal settings first, then pick one of your saved profiles.
When I was stuck in one of those reboot cycles, I tried to pick one of my saved profiles, but it didn't work until after I selected optimal settings.

My experience is that the auto-tune is not much use. It spends ages making a few silly tweaks. A few hours of reading and a made 3 very directed tweaks and got 25% boost and it seemed stable. Seems a bit of a gimmick to me?

Hmm yeah i think maybe your right , as when i watched a video ( youtube) of the guy Jj from Asus using the Auto Tune...he seemed a little un sure of what was gonna happen :(
