Can anyone confirm that these coolers fits on a LGA1155 socket? Upon searching for reviews I can only see they support LGA775, unless they are the same fittings or a newer model?

Are these decent coolers for an i5 2500k cpu on a P8P67 motherboard? The Axe Square used to retail at around £50, why is it so cheap now? The price does put me off but I want something cheap and reliable.
I don't really want to overclock but wanted something better than the stock cooler.

For cheap I used to have (still have kicking about somewhere) an Arctic Freezer Pro 13, 4.6 and below on sandybridge I rarely saw it above 65c, costs ~£25.

Though given the option I would go for something with P/P, pretty sure what C64 has linked to is capable of that...also around the same price point.

Push / Pull, a fan configuration for heatsinks and rads.

One fan is pushing air while the other is pulling, maximise airflow etc..

Just unplug everything take cards out etc unscrew board fit cooler on the board outside the case rescrew in put cards back in plug all cables back in shouldn't take longer than 30 mins at most and it's well worth getting the venomous x not only best performer but best resale value should you decide to sell on at a later date. The fans it comes with are not great but will be ultra quiet and still get a decent overclock should you choose to do that in the future and to get lower temps can simply upgrade the fans use old fans as case fans.
