Hi everybody
Long story short : i use Asus B250 mining expert motherboard not for mining but for something else , because it has 19 pci-e slots(12 of which i am using to plug pci-e to usb extension cards) that allowed me to connect 1500+ usb devices (don't ask me how and why ), when i touch the chipset's heatsink it is really hot , burns my finger , the PC itself takes 15 minutes to boot , i think because of this many usb devices attached there should be an heavy load on the chipset and then it heats up considerably .
Please help me to cool this thing up to increase performance so i can add more usb devices to this PC
i have the best processor that is compatible with this motherboard and that runs great on 50-60 degrees C all the time , the ambient temp is dependent on uk weather which is pretty cold and stable and the case's airflow is good , i've got 3 fans to blow air in an 3 to blow it out of it . This pc is supposed to run 24/7 and the chipset's stock heatsink is one of the smallest i've ever seen

Just measured the distance between screws is 5.5 cm it is easy to find such heatsink with a fan but all of them i find seem to have a pretty small heatsink , i am looking for something bigger

You could swap out the supplied fan for a Delta fan...maybe
They push a LOT more air, noisy though and you MUST NOT connect these fans to the mobo headers
I am satisfied with the airflow inside the pc case , i am absolutely not satisfied with the size and shape of the chipset's heatsink

In the end bought a cheap chinese heatsink with an little fan and chipset looks cool but i can't see any performance boost , i hope i extended it's life by a bit
The one that i've got i will recommend to anyone because it's got the distance between screws adjustable for any distance between 43 mm to 82 mm
Chinese cooler
