Just testing my new Asus B450-I and Ryzen 2600. All connected up but no display on screen.

Asus board start-up LEDs stuck on red. According to the manual, this means a CPU error.

PSU is 750w Corsair and have tried 2 GPUs.

Help!

Remove everything, put motherboard onto a cardboard box or similar. Re-seat CPU, check no pins are bent. Fit one stick of memory only and the bare essentials to boot the system.

Very odd.

Not in case yet, on the box. So... sometimes it boots now with ONE stick in B1, sometimes it does not.

I am currently in the BIOS trying to flash it to the latest version from 0901. I have downloaded the 3 latest versions and all say SELECTED FILE IS NOT PROPER BIOS FILE when I try them. So, tried updating direct from internet via board without USB inserted. SAME MESSAGE!?!

I'm so confused right now!

Okay, new update :)

I moved the USB stick to a red USB port and not a blue one.. and the BIOS has just updated to latest 1201 - which is good. Still doesn't explain why on earth I got that message when using Asus automated hard-wired internet connection!

Anyway, I'm about to see if I can get both sticks of RAM installed again and try and get a screen.
