Given the many posts I have read online, I know I'm not the only one to have issues with the Asus bios UI.
I have the Asus Prime H270m running the latest Kaby Lake CPU with 16 gigs of RAM. Overall I like the Asus motherboard and have no complaints other than the Bios UI. The wireless mouse isn't overly responsive though the keyboard appears to work in a reasonable fashion.
The real problems arise when using the Ez fan control wizard for all the fans. The wizard does a great job of setting the fans to optimum speeds but it all goes badly wrong when trying to come out of that screen. As soon as you click OK with the mouse or press enter on the keyboard the thing freezes solid. The only way to get out of it (or at least I have found) is to press the computer reset button.
After around a dozen attempts I finally had success in saving the settings and exiting the BIOS. As I say lots of others have found this a real issue, plus I have found posts going back as far as 2013, so not encouraging that Asus don't appear able to solve this problem, or perhaps they just don't care?
