Has anyone been able to get this to work? Downloaded the app for my iphone of the app store and it seems to connect, but anytime i try and launch any of the options (overclocking, hardware monitor, remote control) it gives me the message "unable to connect to the computer, please check the connection type in connection".

:confused:

Well given they dont yet have systems that get around basic wireless problems, a pioneer wireless overclocking system is something I instincitivley distrust. Sorry post isnt helpful but why would you need this?

Works fine here, make sure you have pressed in the BT button on the IO plate.

Should connect when the PC is powered down.

Don;t really need it but theres a hardware monitor feature that could come in handy when running prime, if im away from the pc i should be able to connect to it and see core temnps etc.

Don't really see any button on the plate, theres a plastic piece that i think lights up when its enabled.

Ended up removing the device entirely, rescanned for it, entered the code, the btgo program is showing that its capable of controlling the pc for clocking etc, but when i launch the program on the phone and click any of the programs in it i just get

"unable to connect to the computer, please check the connection type in connection" Checked the connection and it is indeed set to bluetooth...

:rolleyes::confused:

Hmm how close is the phone to the PC. I've only ever used the RC Bluetooth version and range is an issue. And I was more prone to getting the above errors with my N97 than on my DHD. My only solution was to just keep retrying.

When it does work, I wouldn't call it a gimmick :p. It's actually been very useful for me monitoring settings etc when overclocking.
