Asus commando - PCI SLots, help??!

Hi, just got the commando, installing all components on vista, and i have a tv card and a xfi extremem music in the pci slots and they havent been detected at all, any ideas?

right ok, when i took the tv card out, the sound card was detected and installed, when i put it back in the sound card disappeared, when i took the sound card out and left the tv card in, the tv card doesnt exist, any ideas im baffled
 
bios update being ghey, asus update says, due to inner bios framework was changed, go to asus and download latest version. i used the latest version of update and bios soo...? then using afudos, i create the startup floppy and add afudos file and then when i add the rom it says not enough room on floppy need 206 more bytes even though i worked it out its only 1420 bytes so im 24 under... any ideas? thanks
 
Put afudos and the bios file on a different floppy. Boot into dos with the boot floppy then put the floppy in with the flash utility and bios file, then follow the instructions.
 
yup got the bios updated, still not detected, the tv card is a hauppage 1100 and its not being detected at all by the computer, ive tried it in every pci slot their is :( ideas?
