Anyone here have any reasons not to get this board? Looks like exactly what I want but thought some owners on here could tell me their experiances with it? Thanks

have a look at the abit AB9 QuadGT too - v. similar & a bit cheaper.
Posted results on XS also seem v. similar.

Had to rule it out as I need 2 network cards and would rather not use an addin card.

Saw that post, was wanting some more meager overclockers accounts as all the gripes they seem to have are for the "extreme"... hence the name of the forum I guess

Just hope its a good stable board with no show stopping issues. Guess only one way to find out...

yeah i know what your saying about extreme but i recon if you get 500+ fsb then its got to be worth it

Going to couple the Commando with some Geil PC6400 and a E4300 and use my existing Tuniq Tower to cool it. Hopefully I can get some good overclocking in but I wont be doing any of the vdroop or other such mods as suggested in that post!

You can do the Vdroop mod with a pencil, it's dead easy. Reduces temps, and increases overclocks.

If you're not going to be rubbing around the CPU socket every five minutes then I reccommend you do it as it's easily reversed.

Can you tell me where you saw the info for using a pencil? All I found was the need for a 50k pot, which requires soldering?

Looks good but thats for a P5B Deluxe, not the Commando... is there any confirmation this works on the Commando too?
