Asus Commando

Get a P35 chipset based mobo instead e.g. IP35 Pro & no, the Commando isn't SLI (but do you really need SLI?).

Theres a massive thread on it here.

Along with most motherboards, unless you using water cooling (or better) you CPU temp will be the defining factor for overclocking if you have decent memory and chip PSU etc.

RE it being SLI...see thread.
No the commando is NOT sli compatible, you do have to have an nvidia nforce chipset to have sli. Only the nvidia chipsets have the neccesary instructions to link to nvidia based cards together. So yeah the commando will only support crossfire, sorry to the OP of this thread!

I have no idea if there is a workaround for that or not.

Ok theirs your information about that board, Now.....

Go for a P35 Chipset, what does that Commando board have over one of the P35 boards other than the name (which people seem to go crazy other  ) and the gimmickly, carped LCD screen....
