Asus comparison

I'm just looking to build a new AMD system and have seen these 2 boards

and

Now they look really similar and have a similar price but is there much difference.
Was planning to go with this 1st option but would like to hear opinions.

Can't really comment on which is the best, but I had two of the M4A79 Deluxe for my PhenomII 940, the first one would not even post so I got a replacement and the replacement lasted 1 day and went the same way as the first, finally replaced it with a M3A79-T Deluxe and it's a fantastic board.

What went in the 2nd board.
Those stories are inspiring much confidence in that board.

The second board was ok for one day and the following morning it wouldn't post just like the first one, I took it back and they tested it, confirmed it was faulty, that's when I exchanged it for the M3A79-T Deluxe and very happy with it so far.

mm looks like a change of plan then. I think there was only a few pounds in it.
But really wanted the ability to throw an AM3 at a later date even if it was only using DDR2.
