Asus device names list

Hi

On my Asus n66u I changed the devices that had an obscure name to something recognisable that showed in the devices list.
Ive since reset my router and I have completely forgotten where I made the changes?

As soon as you login, on the right-hand side where it shows connected devices, click the device icon if I recall.

Then it provides a pop-up prompt where you can rename the device.

Found it in the end under LAN tab and Dhcp tab. (I'm using John's fork firmware that may not have the option you suggested as it's old firmware with mainly security fixes).
