When i connect a drive to the orange port windows boots fine but often freezes; the mouse cursor judders. With one drive this occurred all the time until i disabled the drive in device manager. With another drive it only occurred when reading or writing to the disk.
I have tried multiple drives and sata ports
I have updated bios and windows
Firstly any one know how to resolve this. I tired on the Asus forums but cant get the time of day from them!
Also if i cannot resolve this is it feasible to try the "Super Speed" mode ie raid 0. As in if using just one drive causes the freeze would using a different mode be safe for my data and possibly cure the issue? Thanks
