I have an asus pch-dl board and cant find the driver cd that came with it,
going to asus site to download them they all come in nice little floppy disk creator packages, and guess what, i dont have a floppy drive,
other than emailing asus and telling them to pull them selfs into the latest century and offer driver downloads that dont need a floppy, is there any way to get the drivers with out useing a floppy drive?

yes download them of the asus site. there download logo is a floppy disk, but its just an exe file. Or at least it is for the mobo and GFX cards I've ever had.

its an exe file that when clicked waits a while then says cant find floppy disk information, displays a window that also lets me select the drive letters of my card reader so i even tryed sticking in an sd card and letting it run to that but it would not do that either,
there is no other way to get the files out of the exe is there?

In that case I have no idea, never had any of that with the drivers I've downloaded.

It sounds like your files have been the same as these (floppy disc logo .exe)
so what do you do with it? what happens when you run the exe?

I just save it to my desktop or whatever, then just run it and it installs like any other software.
