Post back with your ISP and we'll be able to help, for example Sky is very different to other ISP's (MER). Also you may want to have a look at the thread below. Several places discounted them to £100ish or less but it really isn't a good choice.
Take out the cable from phone socket to modem, so hopefully no DLM kicks in
Try manually @ WAN>Internet Connection tab & choose
VDSL / VDSL WAN (PTM)
WAN connection Type=PPPoE
Enable WAN=yes
Enable NAT=yes
802.1Q
Enable=yes
Vlan id=101
Get the WAN IP automatically=yes
Connect to DNS Server automatically=yes
PPP Username= [email protected] (or whatever your isp has)
Password= yourplusnetmainpassword (or whatever your isp has)
PPP Authentication= Chap
MTU= 1492
then at administration>DSL settings, set manually
DSL Modulation=VDSL2
ANNEX Mode=B
VDSL Profile=17a
G.INP= enable
all others settings at both pages can let them at defaults or blank
Turn off the modem, connect the cable from phone to modem & now power on the modem ... and wait up to about 10 minutes if will connect
So you're suggesting it's Plusnet's fault that you chose not to use the pre-configured hardware they supplied and replaced it with a product of your choice (with known issues) that you now can't configure it? Good luck with that
If the wizard isn't picking up the correct settings then all you had to do is look at the Member Services page and then choose connection settings, fortunately babis3g has kindly pasted them already for you.
