Hi guys,

i'm currently with vodafone and i'm looking to upgrade my router to support VPN connection so all traffic on the network is routed through the VPN. I'm aware I need to pay for the service as well.

Some of the routers seem quite costly at over £100. Draytek I know are insanely good but it's only for a home network.

I have come across the "ASUS DSL-N16" which is advervised as VDSL and supports a VPN but it's only £35.

Too good to be true?

Thanks

It’s a really basic device and maybe just about worth what they’re charging. It’s a router for when you have virtually no budget and don’t care very much. Most included ISP routers will have better specs.

Routing all of your traffic through a VPN isn’t a great idea. It will break various things and is basically pointless anyway.
