Hi guys, first let me explain what i've got, and then i'll get around to the question! Please bear with me cos i'm a noob.
Ok, my current set-up is using BT Homehub 3 on an ADSL line, with speeds maxing out at about 8mb. Line wont be upgraded till 2014 at the earliest. Attached to the hub i have a home cinema amp (ethernet),PS3 (wifi),SKYHD (wifi),Ipad (wifi),2x laptops (wifi),2x Iphones (wifi), Vodaphone SureSignal (ethernet),printer (wifi).

My problem is with the router. I use the Ipad to stream music to my amplifier via Airplay. It always drops the connection! I have decided i want to bin the HH3 and replace it with one of the Asus models above. Now i want to future-proof my purchase, and am ok with the cost of either. I like the interfaces on the Asus' and like the idea of Aicloud too. I want simultaneous dual band to stream the music on the 5ghz band.

Ok my questions are these:
Given the fact that i will need a modem, and only have speeds of 8mb, which would be the better purchase?

I know that i can use my HH3 as the modem, but how easy/practical is this to do? Has anyone actually done it this way?

I have only limited knowledge of how to configure these routers, but i don't mind learning (with a little help). Can anyone point me in the right direction?
