Asus DSLN55U with beta bios or N66U Cable Router

I'm getting fibre installed in a couple of weeks, I have the N55 currently and I can see with the beta bios it can work with the VDSL modem.

I'm unsure if there is any downside to this or whether I'd be better getting the N66U Cable Router.

Any advice appreciated.

As it'll cost nothing I'd try the N55.

Beyond loosing the use of one LAN port I can't see any downside.
