Has anyone upgraded the memory on ones of these laptops?

I have contacted Asus and their response was:

Please be advised that this model supports up to 8GB of DDR3L 1600MHz SDRAM, so 2GB will be fine.

Please note DDR3L SDRAM has 1,35v. 1,5v might not work on the device.

Thanks.

How are you finding the laptop? really interested in its sleek design and lightweight build. was planning on buying it but was on the fence about being able to upgrade certain parts. The eu sites have it with 4gb ram which is kinda frustrating :P

Looks like the memory is on board when i take the back off.

I also bought the ASUS E403SA-FA0029T with 4GB RAM, and want to know for sure it can be updated with extra memory. Is there an empty slot onboard or can the onboard memory be exchanged with a 8 GB chip?

Was hoping to add a low voltage chip like this: http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/ct51264bf160b

Laptop is nice, slick and light weight. I think it could do with some extra memory.

I only had a brief look but appeared to be all on board so never looked in to it any further.
