Asus Eee Battery Problems?

After charging my Eee I've left it without use for 4 days. Now I've come back to it it's showing my battery as 30% remaining. I would expect it to slowly discharge, but not this quickly. Is there a problem with it or is this normal behaviour?
It's the standard 4400mAh battery, so is it worthwhile upgrading anyway?

These batteries are widely known to be crap and your problem sounds par for the course. I've just got a 10400mah battery that I'm using as we speak.

Can't comment on it yet as it's yet fully charged but it does make the item bulkier whch is a bit of a dissappointment.

I have heard a fair amount about this with the 900, not sure abou the 701 but I think it is fairly normal.

Ben Cole, could you let me know how long you get with the 10400mah battery? I am looking to get one at some point. Running a game to see how it fares under the worst possible conditions would be great if you have the time

Not going to use it for any games but what I propose to do is run a fullscreen video on repeat and see how long it goes, then compare it to the standard battery.
