HDMI support and Blue Tooth (for the 204 at least) and a battery incase of power failure (for the B204 again). Same old Atom though.

Also, Asus website is carrying a section on the B203 which must be some improvement over the B202 (Blue Tooth perhaps? Or heaven help us, Vista?). I haven't managed to find a spec sheet on it though.

Seems like Asus is aiming for the TV top downloadable content box. I don't use my B202 for anything more than web browsing and email. But a little more oomph would be nice. Roll on the 330 version, which, considering the speed the 204 and 206 have been touted might not be that long.

That's pretty awesome, should be interesting to see what the reviews say about the performance. I'd be very tempted, the remote control is a nice touch too, like you say they are clearly aiming for the AV market.

I just got the B202 for Xmas and am using it now. It runs Windows XP Home pretty well, I wouldn't want to put Vista on it though for the same reasons as the eeePC. I am going to be using it as a media center running XBMC (I am a long time user of it on my Xbox so I'll see how it does as a replacement). It will be hooked up to my Samsung HDTV and running at 720p. I will also be using it as a general purpose download box running the uTorrent webUI, FileZilla FTP server and LogMeIn remote access.

Now the lack of a remote is sort of a critical flaw as I don't want to hook up the keyboard and mouse when I have it sat next to the TV. I have a workaround which is fairly technical involving a USB to Serial adapter and a IR receiver circuit. Esentially I can use any remote I want and then use some windows software to learn the codes and convert them to keypresses. This should work fine with XBMC as it was designed with the Xbox remote as the main input. Once I have it working outside the box I will then hijack the spare USB port on the PCI-Express Mini slot and put it inside.

I am concidering a pair of these as a replacement to my main pc, I hardly game anymore, how do they respond in normal windows functions?

No-one knows since they aint released yet.. but the Atom powered B202 box is quite fine for all Windows use bar encoding video or playing NEW games. You can play older ones fine... Check out the Gaming under Windows threads on msiwind.net for info (same CPU) or on eeeuser.com (the 1000H forum). It's effectively my "main" PC except when I need to do something else and its only 18W or so power consumption

A bit sluggish as it comes out of the box (1MB RAM/160GB HD) compared to my Q6600 systems but otherwise OK.
