Asus eee pc 900 battery

Lo all,

wondering if this has happened to anyone else, My gf bought me a eee pc 900 for Christmas and i've noticed recently the battery isnt holding it's charge. For example, i gave it a full charge on Saturday/Sunday and haven't used it till today and it's on 20%.

Where do i ask for a replacement? The retailer i got it from or asus themselves?

This is a known problem with the 900 and changing the battery will not address the issue, there is a design fault with the 900's motherboard. All you can really do is unclip the battery to stop the drain.

The 901 does not suffer from this problem, could look at selling your 900 it if it is a big issue for you and going for the 901.
