Am really thinking off getting the 2 pack does anyone have it and does the one pluged in too the modem have to stay plug in or can i move both sum were in my home ??

Just get a single decent Access Point and mount it centrally upstairs on the ceiling.

Unless you have an immediate requirement for WiFi6E then I would say wait. It’s VERY new technology and you’re paying a huge premium for cutting edge technology which probably isn’t quite perfected yet, so the next release, or the release after that will be better and things do tend to cheaper as time goes on.

As @ChrisD. says, a single decent WiFi6 access point like the Ubiquiti UniFi U6-Pro or U6-lite will almost certainly do what you want. Or 1 or more U6-Mesh units if you prefer freestanding access points.

Why are you dead set on really expensive products? You'll most likely find that a single AP does what you want, for less than £200.

I think it’s because usually more expensive = better and Marketing Departments prey on people on that basis. I know people who are still fighting tooth and nail to buy the UAP-AC-Pro because it’s £140 and so it must be better than a U6-lite at £100. How do you explain that to people?

And obviously, you’re correct. The OP doesn’t want anything from the AmpliFi range as it’s just not as good as the UniFi gear, despite costing more money.
