ASUS EXPRESS GATE on other Non-Asus PC's

Hi, I quite like the ASUS Express Gate function on the new ASUS motherboards. Im curious to know if it can be used on other non ASUS/solid state embedded motherboards or if there is anything similar to Asus EG that boots quick to allow instant internet access, skype, mp3/movie player etc. without completely booting vista?

Any help would be appreciated.

If it's not a bios feature then the only alternative would be to install a small Linux distibution to your HD or a FlashIDE cart.
(Express gate is just Linux. It's just very small and optimized to boot fast from the embedded flash)

Pehaps stick a small linux distro on a fast pendrive and set the BIOS to look for that first, then just plug it in when you want a quick boot?

oo i see, ill have a go at that vashiro/alex. Also if anybody else has an Express Gate mobo, It would be nice if the os was ripped for use on a pendrive seeing how it isnt a bios feature i dont think.
