Asus GeForce GTX 580 Matrix

Well it's an 200 quid Upgrade if i sell 6950

You wish.

I would say it's nearer a £275 upgrade and that's assuming you won't need a new power supply.

If you're hell bent on this then get a more sensible GTX 580 which needs a 6 pin and an 8 pin power cable.

They often come with an adapter for two 6 pin power cables to an 8 pin and two molex adapters to a six pin.

At least you'd be able to supply the right power connections to the card and then you'd have to hope the power supply could cope.

Perhaps a card with a reference design cooler would be better as they exhaust the hot air out of the case rather than dumping it inside.

I want to get the 580 But every seems to think it's a waste of money at the moment considering I already have a 6950.

that's because it is a waste of money, at the res you playing at it's not worth it. and by the time you get a new monitor the new graphics cards should be out and faster than the current ones(and wouldn't cost £800 as you seem to think).

I'm not that knowledgeable about computers at all as you can probably tell Was just looking for some advise and I think all of your help has made me realise My system is fine. :D
