Morning Gents, my old Asus 8800gt has started giving me massive graphical corruption so I think it's time for an RMA (good thing it has a 3 year warranty).

However, I've heard nothing but bad things about Asus mobo RMAs, is it the same situation for their GPU RMA service?

Basically I need to know if this PC is going to be without graphics for a long period of time so I can start looking for a replacement.

Unless things have improved greatly over the past few years expect to get nowhere... in my experiance after the 1st year asus dont want to know, unless the reseller you bought it from has an "understanding" with asus. As of right now asus still dont have a proper RMA system in place from what i can see.

There is a thread in the motherboards section about asus.

Slightly different as it's not a motherboard or GPU, but I recently RMA'd the other halfs netbook to them. Turn around was only a few days, couriered away and back at no charge to me.
