I've been trying to put some load on my new OcUK AIO cooling kit. I even bricked my card but recovered (secret is setting IGPU to primary adapter).

I have not tried GPU tweak 2, but I am pleasantly surprised that I can use GPUtweak with my EAH6850 (I thought only Asus smart doctor worked, buggy with files from 2005).

Install latest drivers on Asus site for your gfx, install gpu tweak + afterburner because fan profile was missing. You will be able to unlock voltage & clock limits. If you prefer you can uninstall the control center and driver and install latest (don't do a deep clean or you lose the special sauce).

1030 up from 790 stock (1030 was only stable with added voltage 1.157> 1.233v 1050Mhz still unstable, 1015Mhz stable @ stock 1.157v) and I've not touched the memory clock yet, 1100 on air, but I've got it all RAM sinked up with 3 fans (silent) on it.

tl;dr
It looks like I've disguised my overclocking thread as a updated utility thread.

There is no reason to use it over other overclocking tools except for the fact that if you have an Asus voltage tweak card you can unlock the token volt mod. The other reason to use it was that MSI afterburner did not unlock unofficial overclocking whereas GPUTweak does.

Asus smart doctor was the only other way I found to unlock a little extra voltage but it cause crashing between rounds in battlefield 3 (known issue).

This was meant as a PM but as I've gone to the effort I might aswell post it incase it helps anyone with a voltage tweak card.

I've done some testing and overclocking and I have been able to achieve 1030Mhz GPU (1150Mhz GDDR5). Also I was playing Payday 2 @1000Mhz GPU with default 1.157 and got display driver resets. I then played @ 1030 GPU 1.233v and had no issues.

^not done on the memory, I was being conservative.

This review shows an independent test of my card being voltage controlled:

The screenshots show the load voltage changes from 1.157v to 1.233v. In the forth screenshot u can see sapphire trixx reports 1233mV, also GPU-z is being used to create load and the voltage can be read there.

Compare the GPU load voltage and load temperature with the same clocks in these 2 screenshots

Simply shows ATI try tools monitoring the default voltage at stock clocks.

Shows Sapphire Trixx reading the 1233mV load voltage with MSI AB core clock slider unlocked (passed 1000Mhz).

Once GPU tweak has unlocked the voltage to 1.233v and unlocked its sliders they can be set in Sapphire Trixx. MSI afterburner's voltage slider is still blank.

Ok I'm going to assume from now that we can agree GPUtweak voltage unlock is not fake.

I believe Sapphire Trixx and GPU tweak use licenced Riva Tuner software? So it should be possible to have MSI afterburner do what these clones can.

I have 5 operating systems so I can easily test different drivers/software.

I'm pleased with my overclock and the increase in performance but my cooling is hardly pushed. This bodes well for a possible upgrade.

BTW Asus GPU tweak is offered for download for my card on the official Asus site, I didn't realise this till I read one post on the internet. The Asus driver must be installed to use GPUtweak, but you can do a control panel uninstall of driver + control panel and use any other compatible driver.
