Asus GTX 480 not displaying anything please help!

I recently bought an ASUS GTX 480 from this site, but when I install it nothing is displayed. I have un-installed all old nvidia drivers using a driver remover in safe mode. But with the correct driver still nothing is displayed. here is some basic system information:

Windows 7 Ultimate x64
TripleCore AMD Phenom II X3 Black Edition 720, 2800
Asus M3A78-EM
4GB DDR2 800MHz Corsair
EVGA e-GeForce GTS 250
Samsung SyncMaster 2032BW/2032GW/MagicSyncMaster CX2032GW
Hitachi HDP725050GLA360 (465 GB)
OCZ Stealth Stream 700W
Antec 300

So theres is nothing? not even a bios /boot-up screen? or is just when you install the nvidia drivers.

just a black screen, no bios, nothing. When I say install I mean fitting the GFX card into the Slot.

have you plugged both power cables into it?

tried another dvi connector on the rear?

it needs both.

did it not come with a molex to pci-e adapter in the box?

Yup I have tried using different cables on different monitors.
