Hi,

Currently just looking for opinions.

After following a guide currently I have:

Voltage: 1.125
Core: 856
Shader: 1713
Memory: 2256
Temp: 90

It performs very well for me. I'm just wondering if it's worth changing the cooling on to see if it can go higher. Can anyone recommend different cooling and what they got up to?

Many thanks,

M.

I got similar clocks to you when I had a 480, I then put a thermalright shaman on it and couldn't get any further, but the card temps were 65C max.

What temps would you be getting on that with standard clocks?

I want to OC my 480 but don't want it to get too warm.

edit: What program do you use to OC your card?

You need to get a Zalman cooler (as per sig) on there.

EPIC cooling for your 480 GPU, VRMs and vRAM.

Recommended.

Thanks guys - I'm going to have to look into the Zalman cooler as it does get a little loud!

I'm using MSI Afterburner to overclock the card. I was getting around 70c on default clocks so I've added an extra 20c on it by overclocking it to the clocks in the OP.
