ASUS GTX 670 advice

Hi everyone,

I just wanted your thoughts about the ASUS GTX670-DC2OG-2GD5 card I just received, details and specs here:

http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/NVIDIA_Series/GTX670DC2OG2GD5/

I was expecting to be receiving the GTX670-DC2T-2GD5 at a very reasonable price:

http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/NVIDIA_Series/GTX670DC2T2GD5/

But in the endi t was not the saving I thought it was because I got the OG version.

Anyway, my concern isn't about the money or the amount of MHz overclocked anymore, but whether it is a good card or not.

The reason I am asking is there are no reviews or awards given to my card that I can find anywhere on the web. I know it is basically the same card but with a core that probably couldn't hold a stable 1158MHz and possibly a different BIOS version.

Should I consider sending this card back or should I stick with what I have got?

Any reply would be very much appreciated, thanks.

Stick it in and see what you think is my advice. If it doesn't perform how you would want, DSR it and tell them you want the DCII.

Totally agree with gregster.

What each 670 will boost to (even within the same make/model) is pretty random.
EG. mine will boost to 1163, but some people get 1,200 out of the box. As stated many times, it's not called the "silicon lottery" for nothing.
