Hi All

Yesterday I built myself a new PC (Details in sig) and upon installation I noticed white glitch lines appearing on the screen, particularly around the mouse cursor which is happening constantly. Onboard graphics work fine with no issues

I have tried the following:

    • Different NVidia driver versions
    • Reinstallation of OS (including versions of win 7 and 8)
    • Checking of all connections

My assumption is its the GPU and will look to RMA it. But wondered if anybody had any ideas?

Many thanks

Have you used the same display cables when running off the IGP and the 970 ? Sometimes monitors can be at fault, when using different display inputs.

Maybe you can try with a display port or DVI/HDMI (whichever you are not using). You can find cables at your local cheap shop if you don't have one around.

Does it do the same in all types of usage scenarios ? Desktop/ browser and games ?

By the sound of it, it's probably a GPU RAM issue. You should RMA the card - it's never a pleasant process but these things happen...
