Hi,
I have two Asus HD6870 DirectCu's in crossfire. For some reason I am able to overvolt only one of them. I am using Asus GPU Tweak as you should with these cards (Other programs won't do it). The one I am able to overvolt has Hynix memory. The card that I can't overvolt has Elpida memory So I'm not able to test other bioses(Only one in Techpowerup collection). Elpida one got 1200mV and Hynix one got 1400mV limit in GPU Tweak.
I have tried several different versions of GPU Tweak and never can I overvolt the other card. GPU Tweak labels overvoltable card as "EAH 6870 DC". Other says "HD 6800 Series" evet though both are DirectCu.
Pretty specific problem, but I would want to test overclock potential of these cards before upgrading.
