The card is voltage locked from the factory but I can't find any info about what Hotwire let's you push through it don't suppose you can shed any light ?

I was under the impression with the hotwire it was a case of solder it to the card then plug it into the mobo. and that unlocked the higher voltages. what exactly do I need other than a suitable and rather expensive ROG board
