Just how far can you push the voltage on a 7970 cuII Top using VGA Hotwire?

The card is voltage locked from the factory but I can't find any info about what Hotwire let's you push through it


don't suppose you can shed any light ?

Don't pseudo you could recommend a good ROG mobo that supports hotwire?


This over clocking malarkey is about to get expensive

Rest of my spec is

2600k
H100 cooler
8 gig hyper x ram

Guess you mean the Maximus v extreme?


Silly question but I take it there's nothing else that supports hotwire that's slightly less eye watering price wise


Almost temping me to just flash the bios on my gpu instead

what do you mean by guide and flashing the bios?


I was under the impression with the hotwire it was a case of solder it to the card then plug it into the mobo. and that unlocked the higher voltages.

what exactly do I need other than a suitable and rather expensive ROG board
