Hi all,

Setting up a new Asus B650E-I Gaming ITX board and having an issue with the primary M.2 mount on the top of the board.

Basically the thermal pad underneath appears far too thin and doesn't contact the back of the SSD. This is likely because it's designed to cater for SSDs with chips on the back, which mine doesn't have.

As a result, when I screw down the heatsink, the pressure from the sink and top pad bends the SSD alarmingly and means it's barely contacting any of the thermal pads at all.

Do I just need to replace the bottom thermal pad with a thicker one? Where can I get this from?

Ta.
