Asus M2NPV-VM memory issues

Has anyone successfully got Geil PC6400 to run on an Asus M2NPV-VM ?
having allsorts of issues with unrarring sfv, par - anything that is memory intensive, machine works fine otherwise

Fitted the cheaper version of this board (one without the header) yesterday and some Cosair Value DDR2 memory and work fine.

This board is apparently super picky on memory, that board isnt even listed on corsairs website, so i just cant trust it - have you tried unrarring and parring 100MB rar files ? also does the right speed appear on post ? Its not listed on asus QVL either, even the latest bios i got from asus (0403) didnt fix a thing) and its all gone silent over there
