This is an ongoing problem and tons of Google searching and trying things has netted me no solution so I figured I would ask you guys.
Sound works fine most of the time but every now and then I can be watching a movie or playing a game and all of a sudden I just get a loud hiss coming out of the speakers.
When watching movies it occurs as I resume playback of a paused movie, it does not do it every time and file type does not seem to make a difference. I can usually shuffle back a little bit in the movie and it will clear itself.
When playing games it seems totally random and the only way I clear it then is to exit out of the game and restart it.
It's not the speakers as I have had 2 different sets of pc speakers on this machine and currently the sound is run out through a stereo system and it has done it will all setups.
I can't just put another sound card in it because as pathetic as it is I simply can't afford to buy one
Any ideas?
