Hey guys, was wondering if you could help me out with a small query, bought and built a system form OcUK this week using the Asus M2V motherboard, and no matter what, the 6 Channel Hi-Def audio won't install, i've tried the drivers on the disk and from Asus site, and each time it encounters an error installing and obivously that means no sound, granted if it doesn't get itself sorted i can just pop out & buy a £5 pci sound card, but i would rather not, it for an old guy who more than likely will use it once a year for trying voice typing then realising how flawed it is, but no sound card = system speaker beeps as alerts + 77 yr old man prone to worrying about his pc will end up with thoudands of calls to yours truly!
