Hi all, just purchased an Asus M4A78 with the amd 770 chipset and put everything together from my old system into the new motherboard but when i press the power button nothing happens the lights on the mobo light up when u switch the psu on but when u press the front power button it does not do anything as though there is no power.
I have managed to bridge the green and black psu wires and it boots up and runs fine and have installed win7 and all drivers for my peripherals but still cannot get the powr button to turn the system on and wondered if anyone had any idea's
I have removed all but one of the geil memory banks and all pci devices apart from the graphics and hd's but still wont power on at all, but like i say if i bridge the black and green psu wires it will boot the system up but have to turn the power supply off when i'm finished otherwise the system would stay on with a black screen.
thanks
steve
