A friend is considering buying a pc but would like to change the integrated graphics chip. I just want to check it's possible to replace it with a 5000 series card.
You wont be able to change the actual chip on the motherboard itself, however if you were to buy a 5000 series graphics card and put it in, the system will use the 5000 series card instead of the onboard chip.

That board will take any PCI-E graphics card.
However please make sure that your PSU is up to job and has enough juice and required power connectors for the GPU you'll be buying.
