Asus M5A97 Pro 2xPCI-e 16?

Hi,

Ive got the above mentioned board but am confused on one hand it says I have 2x PCI-E x16 then it says its 1x16 and 1 x4 so does that mean the black one which is supposed to be x4 means having 2 6870 radeons will make no difference?

The slots are PCI-E 16X, but one slot runs electrically at x4 rather than x16 so the bandwidth of the slot is reduced.

x4 would in my opinion hamper a second 6870.
