Hi Guys,

So I got the Asus Maximus Formula and I love it, however when I try to set the Ram speed to 1066, I cant do, I dont see the option, 800Mhz is the Max

OCin is so complicated on this mobo.

I also want to run my E4300 to 3gig but dont know how to do it. It worked on the Abit Max 32 mobo, but had to get rid of that.

800mhz will be the highest speed available til you start overclocking the CPU's FSB. The memory speed will rise as you raise the FSB when clocking the CPU, so 1066mhz will be more than possible when you get to 3ghz. But set the memory on the lowest setting before clocking the CPU as you'll quickly over-push your memory if you keep it on the highest setting. You'll also need to set the correct voltage for the memory.

Clocking it to 3ghz should be as simple as setting the FSB Frequency option to 334mhz. Might be a good idea to set the CPU Voltage to 1.35v.

My Ram is able to support 2.4V not sure what the EVP stands for

I will try to OC the CPU but the Bios is so confusing for me lolz
