Guys,
I currently have the striker II Extreme(790i Ultra) which at the moment is so unstable its just a complete joke.
No Problem found out it was my q6600 with silly temps was causing the problem.
But i was thinking of getting the Asus Maximus Extreme for several reasons.
1) I can simply connect my water cooling as it uses the same fusion block as the striker II extreme
2) As it is a x38 chipset and not 790i Ultra I should not encounter any stability problems?
Please tell me if i am right in assuming this as I really did want sli but it looks like i will be getting a 9800 gx2 if i get the x38 board.
So do you think the Asus Maximus Extreme is a stable board for overclocking my q6600 ?????????
