Hi

trying to overclock and having hard job understanding the basics. I up the cpu ratio to 9 and the FSB to 333mhz and save it and restart but it wont boot up. If I use the oc'ing facility for the cpu to another cpu Q6850 or crazy setting it boots up so what am I doing wrong.

Confused I am.

Sounds like your CPU wont do 333x9 on stock setting. Try upping the Vcore a litttle to start. http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17612922
