Hi All,

I added Corsair CMK32GX4M2D3200C16 Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) kit to my Hero VIII mobo in slots A2 & A4 a short while ago and configured the BIOS to run it at 3200Mhz but she wouldn't boot up. I then read in the Hero VIII manual that the voltage should be 1.35v not 1.20v so I tried that. Same problem. I'm new to OC so basically haven't a clue what settings I need to put in the BIOS for her to successfully boot.

Can anyone help?

Cheers
Daz

Should be a case of just enabling XMP (DOCP), applying the changes and rebooting.

But failing that manual specify the primary timings 16-19-19-36 and leave the rest of the timings on auto.
Manually set 1.35v (some times the DRAM voltage is set in a couple of different places in the BIOS).
Then manually set the speed to 3200(1600), if that does not work step down to 3000(1500)... and so on till you get an good POST and boot.

There are lots of other settings, but that should be good enough to establish an baseline / starting point.

Then memtest it at least for an few hours for any errors.

I have had awful problems with Corsair LPX in the past reaching it's stated speed.
There is an reason it's cheap, it's just not that flexible.
