Ok, i was going to buy the hazro wc glass version but a bit put off by the recent price increases. Thought the above monitor will do as a stop gap until i decide what to get and then i can give the Asus to the kids.
Seems a good deal with a mva panel, anyone got one they would like to give an opinion off, cheers Kev

I've never owned an MVA, but from what I've seen on people that do they have good colours, but suffer from bad ghosting when it comes to motion and games.

Also still below IPS in terms of quality. If you're just going for a stop gap it should be alright.

Have a look at TFT Central and see if they have a review up on it.

I'd say go for the 23" IPS, They look the same, but the 23" has a better panel, and it's only an inch :p

Well just an update, went for the ML249H and am absolutely delighted with it. Screen is so much better than my HP W2007H, see so much more detail and colour.

Seeing as the price of the Hazro's has gone up think i will keep this for a while rather than getting one of them. Believe me for the money this is a stunning monitor and its now on T.W.O.

Just bumping this thread (hopefully not in a rude fashion) so I may grab Beefybarn's attention since i have purchased an ASUS ML249H from OcUK as well, and wanted to pick his brain upon what colour calibration he has been using.
Edit: This yellowish tint I'm getting is slightly annoying.

Hi mate, im working away this week but will list my settings at the weekend. Must say have not got any yellow tint on mine, im blown away by the image quality.

I had this dilemma and decided to buy the lg32ld450 32" hdtv ips panel, low response time, s-ips screen with correct 4:4:4 display ;) I use a 110" 720p projector with my pc for light use so i doubt Ill have a problem with a 32" 1080p panel.Going to use my 22" as a second display.

After much time spent calibrating (in many different light environments):

Scenery mode was the one to be chosen. The ASUS Splendid Technology blabla acted best in it, and had the most customizable options apart form Theatre mode which really exagerated with the shadow contrasts.

Contrast: 91, Brightness: 81 (depends on the room mostly)
Color sat: 44

Natural skin tone, Color temp: R = 67, G = 81, B = 100
