Hi.

I'm looking to update the BIOS on my M5A97 R2 motherboard. Which one would be the preferred method out of these two flashing options?

I think I am leaning toward EZ flash.

Cheers.

I think EZFlash is from Windows? Never ... and I strongly advise NEVER update your bios whilst you're loaded in an OS. Do it from the BIOS utility that ASUS provides

EZ Flash is the way to go, it's the 'easy' and safe way to flash bios. There is no Windows interaction. Unzip your bios to a flash drive and follow the instructions in your user manual.

EZ Flash. Flashback is great for recovery or flashing to update CPU micro code otherwise use EZ Flash.
